Born in 1956, licensed as HA0DU in May 1974. My better half since 1993 is Ildi HA0UZ. Interests: DX, IOTA, USA-CA, 160 meters DX, RDA, contests, antennas, etc. Former HF manager and DX editor of MRASZ,the Hungarian Amateur Radio Society. Expeditions: TA5/HA0DU, TA5KA,YM5KA, TA5/N0FYR ZA1DU, ZA1QA, ZA0RS, K6E (WRTC 1996), ZA20QA, 6W/HA0NAR, J5NAR. One of the operators of CN8WW in CQWW-2000 contests (40 SSB and 80 CW).

US call N9DU.

First HA: DXCC Honor Roll#1, USA-CA-All Counties #1101, IOTA 1000 Islands Plaque, DXCC 6 meters. Others: 5BWAZ, 5BDXCC, 9BWAS etc.

In late 2009 we sold our former QTH (to Tibi HA7TM) with all antennas and moved to a small city lot, because unexpectedly we have been blessed with a daughter. At the new location space and possibilities for antennas are limited to some verticals and wires (and I have other things to do anyway), but I try not to miss too many new ones on 160 through 2 meters. This is mainly possible thanks to Tibi, who generously gives me access to his HG7T contest station, built on our former QTH. On November 8, 2013 our baby boy Gergő was born. The same day I worked K9W for #318 (#322 all time) on 160 meters.
