Born in 1956, licensed as HA0DU in May 1974. Better  half since 1993 Ildiko HA0UZ. Interests: DX, IOTA, USA-CA, 160 meters DX, RDA, contests, antennas, etc. Former HF manager and DX editor of MRASZ,the Hungarian Amateur Radio Society. Expeditions: TA5/HA0DU, TA5KA,YM5KA, TA5/N0FYR ZA1DU, ZA1QA, ZA0RS, K6E (WRTC 1996). One of the operators of CN8WW in CQWW-2000 contests (40 SSB and 80 CW).

Rig: FT-1000MP, homebrew amp, TH7DX and A3WS atop of 100 foot tower, HB9CV for 30, Delta loops for 80 and 160. First HA: DXCC Honor Roll#1, USA-CA-All Counties #1101, IOTA 1000 Islands Plaque, DXCC 6 meters. Others: 5BWAZ, 5BDXCC, 9BWAS etc.

In late 2009 we sold our farm house with all antennas and moved to a small city lot, because unexpectedly we have been blessed with a daughter. At the new location space and possibilities for antennas are limited some verticals and wires (and I have other things to do anyway), but I try not to miss too many new ones on 160 through 2 meters.
