Funk-Amateur-Club Basel FACB

The Funk-Amateur-Club Basel FACB was founded in 1976 in Basel / Switzerland and has about 90 members in Switzerland, Germany und France.

Activities are contests, tinkering, ham education, fellowship, excursions, etc. The FACB has its own clubstation with the call HB9BSL. The clubstation can generally be used by every FACB member and is mostly activ on all RF bands (HF, VHF, UHF).

The FACB is also extremly successful in ham radio education. The club runs its own ham radio education programm and many people have passed the hamlicence exam (CEPT Class, Extra Class) in recent years.

The HF-station consist of a OptiBeam and a FT-1000.
The VHF/UHF Station consist of a a FT-847 and a Yagi.

The club call is HB9BSL.
