Ham Radio took me as a Child. My Elmers were at first my brother George, then I1CHN Paolino and HB9CK Ulisse, they all SK. Other friends follow soon by v-uhf AM. Then I moved around in many countries where no ham operation or reciprocity was not available, (like 5A5)Went back in EU and back in RANCATE (TI)in 1970, and I meet weekly HB9SV and his Tremona group. I also own the callsign I2JJR, and have had IW2AAZ, PA9AMQ; special calls operated II2ANT, I*2SRT, IQ2BJ, HB9RL, HB2008RL.

I am member of the USKA from 1973; Member of the ARI from 1961, Honour Roll; Member of the i-QRP Club, Nr 159; Member of the G-QRP Club; Strange Radio Team,nr.49; Member of the Radio Club Locarno, and of "The Old Scraps Team"; member also of the "Insubria Radio" group, for the Regio Insubrica. Co-Founder of the "Luino Amateur Radio Club", 1962; "Radio Club Grande Stagno", Luino 1972; Sezione ARI di Luino in the '80s . I am proud to have helped many friends to become Ham Radio operators with classes in many places and many years, this is the most exciting thing in HamRadio together with QRP dx now and homebrew qrp tube dx and swl in the '60s. In those years after my degree I had a Job by the firm Zellweger AG in Uster (ZH)and this has been the happiest job place in my life. A great firm like their SE-xxx transceivers. I married in Bissone (TI)in 1970, and my daughter was born in Sorengo near Lugano in 1972. Went again in foreign countries for my job in vy large hydro power stations and their automation, last was in Palermo, Sicily in the late '90s, thus retired in 2000 while being in LU CE CX . Often in 5R8 for free voluntary help , maybe I'll someday be on the air as 5R8JR from the 5R8 mountains .
