Da quel momento Aprilia divenne THE FACTORY.

During the landing on the 22nd of January 1944, British and American did not have updated maps and, arriving at the overpass of Campo di Carne, observing the area (towards the Colli Albani) noticed the Civic Tower and Bell Tower of Aprilia, mistaking them for two chimneys of a factory. Since then Aprilia became THE FACTORY.
