E’ tempo del 9° Diploma COTA che prenderà il via come di consueto il prossimo 20 Maggio terminando il 5 Giugno 2013 in coincidenza con il 199° anniversario della fondazione dell’Arma dei Carabinieri.
Nell’edizione 2013 trovano conferma alcune modifiche apportate lo scorso anno:
- ampliamento delle bande radio valide con inserimento dei 15 metri (21 Mhz)
- 3 stazioni speciali di cui 1 estera operante da Panama
- possibilità di utilizzare per il pagamento lo strumento PAYPAL
- nuovo award manager IZ6CRK Raffaele Cuomo
Infine la riconferma della collaborazione artistica con la pittrice Elisabeth Denzler von Botha che anche quest’anno ha realizzato un una splendida opera raffigurante "Gli Eroi di Nassyiria" la celebrazione del 10° anniversario della strage di Nassyiria del 12.11.2003.
Il ricavato al netto delle spese di gestione verrà devoluto a favore della “ONAOMAC” (Opera Nazionale Assistenza Orfani Militari Arma Carabinieriwww.onaomac.it) oltre ad altre eventuali opere di beneficenza.

It is time for 9th COTA Award , which will start as usual the next May 20 ending June 5, 2013 to coincide with the 199th anniversary of the founding of the Carabinieri Force.
In the edition 2013 are confirmed some changes like last year:
- Extension of the radio bands including the 15 meters (21 Mhz)
- 3 special stations including 1 operating abroad in Panama

Finally, the reaffirmation of artistic collaboration with the painter Elisabeth Denzler von Botha that this year has created a beautiful work depicting an oil on canvas which represents “ The Heroes of Nassyiria” for the 10th anniversary of the massacre, 12.11.2003.
The net proceeds will be devolved to "ONAOMAC" (Assistance for Carabinieri Force Orphanswww.onaomac.it) or other charity purpose.

The Associazione Radioamatori Carabinieri COTA is a nonprofit club founded in 2004 and is headquartered in Castelfidardo (AN). It 'consists of Carabinieri and former and their families with a common passion for the radio.
In November 2008 it was recognized by the Minister of Defense with approval of the General Command of the Carabinieri Force and currently has over 350 members.
Its purposes are
Promote the image of ARC, "COTA" in the world through the use of radio
To promote all activities of amateur radio
Establish friendship among people
Help people in need and for which ARC "COTA" can provide
Establishing "contests" of amateur status without profit purposes to highlight the technical training of operators and to create opportunities to meet togheter
Make available to the competent authorities, at their request, his radio in case of emergencies, disasters and civil protection
Develop and promote cultural exchanges and other technicians with similar Radio Club, both Italian and foreign.
In addition to purely recreational activities and techniques, the Association has always been very sensitive in bringing its contribution to the activities of Radio Emergency in situations of disaster and being close to people in need.
From its foundation has raised about 16,880.00 Euro have been donated to ONAOMAC (Orphans of Carabinieri Force) and the victims of the earthquake in the Abruzzi in 2009, Haiti in 2010 and Japan in 2011.
