I was born in 1972, OM since 1992. I've made a lot of activity on VHF (6 meters included) and UHF, tropo, Es and satellite. From 24/08/2005 I'm active also in HF, most in 20/30/40 mt band CW.
Before 24/08/2005 "IW" was the old Class B without CW exam, and I could not use HF. Now that I dont need CW exam I've discovered CW as a beautiful way to make QSO all over the world and I work 99% in CW only.
I'm not a Big Gun (HI), Usually I use only 100 W (now I've also a small and old amplifierFL2100Z - 500W - but I try to use it only if needed) but with my Begali, FT1000MP MKV Field and a litle bit of luck, some times I'm able to do a good DX.
Antenna system: ,3 elements yagi(TA33) for 10/15/20, 3 elements yagi(A3WS) for 17&12 m, full size dipole for 40mt and 30 mt , LW with external automatic tuner for 80 and 160 mt.
All the antennas are placed on a tower on the roof at abt 15 mt from the ground.
RIG: FT1000MP MKV, TS590S,K1, TS711E, TR851E,IC207, AOR 3000

As the biggest part of OMs I enjoy very much QSLing so, if you need my QSL card It will be a pleasure for me to answer 100%. For the first contact in each band I always send my QSL card via BUREAU. If you need direct QSL, I will answer sure in a few time (max one week). No $ or IRC are required , answer is alwais a pleasure (SWLs are welcome!). If you have sent to me a QSL card and you've not recived my qsl, please email me and I'll provide immediatly to send a new QSL.
E-QSL: Sometimes I upload my log to e-qsl but:
1) I'm not interested in E-QSL
2) pse dont ask me to modify something or validate the account. The upload is made only to try to satisfy some request in this way but I dont trust this system.
About me.
I'm married with a very patient (HI)girl, a Daughter called ELETTRA, and alwais when I'm trasmitting from my shak, my Cat (Meo) is with me as a second operator (HI). so if you will hear some more "dit dit" during the QSO, it's probably a "cat's joke" made with my paddle. He really enjoy very much to paly with everythings on my desk, ofcourse also with paddle!
IA5 IOTA EU-028:
My father was born in Elba Island (IOTA EU-028) and so, during summer, I'm always active from IA5 (where I spend my holiday) as IA5/IW1DFU.
