QSL BY BUREAU - QSL BY BUREAU - OR DIRECT (SASE) Hi, my name is Simone, I was born in 1972 in Modena; I'm a technician in telecommunications from 1992. I live in a little town at about 12Km south from Modena, called Castelfranco Emilia; it is a very pretty town. My hobbies are radio dx, scuba dive, radio controlled model aircraft. For my dx activities I use an american antenna system, it's a Mosley PRO 57B, 7 element 5 band about 27 meters (87ft) high, with 40 meters kit too. My equipment are: Kenwood TS940-S, Icom 706MKII, Kenwood TL-922 Linear Amplifier, 17 elements Tonna (2 meters band),a little vertical bibander antenna for Dx Cluster, vertical antenna for 80 meters band home made with fishing rod located about 15 meter up the ground. I usually work SSB and CW, sometimes RTTY and PSK31. Don't forget that " the exchange of qsl card is the final courtesy of qso" That's all for now. By for now. I am a supporter of the DX Code of Conduct: I will listen, and listen, and then listen again before calling. I will only call if I can copy the DX station properly. I will not trust the DX cluster and will be sure of the DX station's call sign before calling. I will not interfere with the DX station nor anyone calling and will never tune up on the DX frequency or in the QSX slot. I will wait for the DX station to end a contact before I call. I will always send my full call sign. I will call and then listen for a reasonable interval. I will not call continuously. I will not transmit when the DX operator calls another call sign, not mine. I will not transmit when the DX operator queries a call sign not like mine. I will not transmit when the DX station requests geographic areas other than mine. When the DX operator calls me, I will not repeat my call sign unless I think he has copied it incorrectly. I will be thankful if and when I do make a contact. I will respect my fellow hams and conduct myself so as to earn their respect.
