My name is James, I was born in Lucca in 1971 where I live with my family
Lucca is a lovely and ancient city of the Tuscany region and is located 19 mt.above the sea level in these coordinates: 43 ° 50 '29'' North - 10 ° 29' 4'' East
My passion for radio was born in 1987, the year when my father died.After the town band I fell in love with DX SSB together with some dear friends (IZ5DKJ - IZ5IMD - IZ5OVP - IX1BFL - IZ5ILX - IZ1NEZ) and I got the license of Amateur Radio in July 2006.
In summer, sometimes i transmit from my home in the mountains which is located 984 meters above sea level, in the Apuan Alps Park JN54EA.
In addition to the radio are also fond of mechanics and racing car
I think to be a dynamic person and like to socialize most of all with people who have different views of life.I appreciate those who think that they always can ameliorate themselves, those who think that friendship is a great value, those who help the others without wanting anything back, those who don' t loose any minute of their life, those who appreciate everything that is good for your life.

il mio nome è Giacomo, sono nato a Lucca nel 1971 dove vivo con la mia famiglia. Lucca è una graziosa e antica città della Regione Toscana e si trova a 19 mt. sopra il livello del mare in queste coordinate : 43° 51’ 0’’ Nord – 10° 31’ 0’’ Ovest. La mia passione per la radio nasce nel 1987, l’anno in cui è morto mio padre. Successivamente alla banda cittadina mi sono appassionato al DX in SSB insieme ad alcuni miei cari amici (IZ5DKJ - IZ5IMD - IZ5OVP - IX1BFL - IZ5ILX - IZ1NEZ) ed ho ottenuto la licenza di Radioamatore nel Luglio 2006. In estate a volte trasmetto dalla mia casa in montagna che si trova a 984 slm, nel Parco delle Alpi Apuane JN54EA. Oltre alla radio sono appassionato anche di meccanica ed auto da corsa.
Mi ritengo una persona dinamica e tendo a socializzare meglio con chi ha 'larghe vedute'; Stimo chi sà rimettersi in gioco, chi crede nell'amicizia, chi aiuta gli altri senza darlo a vedere troppo, chi coglie l'attimo e apprezza tutto quello che c'è di buono nel vivere.
