How’s DX, The Daily DX and The Weekly DX editor W3UR, Bernie McClenny, and his father N3ME, Tony, are taking their wives and rig to Dominica (NA-101) for some rest and relaxation as well as some Holiday Style operations. Yesterday they received their licenses for special prefixes (J76 and J77). In celebration of the beginning of their Amateur Radio carriers Tony will be J76A (76 the year he was first licensed) from January 22nd to February 11th and Bernie will be J77A (77 the year he was first licensed) from January 22nd to February 1st. Details about the schedule of delivery of The Daily DX and The Weekly DX newsletters will be sent out next week. The father and son team are taking an Elecraft K3 and wire antennas for activity in their spare time on CW, SSB and RTTY on 1.8 through 50 MHz (FK95ho). Tony plans to operate in the CQ WPX RTTY Contest. QSL J76A via N3ME and J77A via W3UR, either direct, via the W3 QSL bureau or LoTW.
