Hi my friends,
Thank you for stopping by. I have been a ham radio operator since 1967 and I am still
very active for both domestic and DX communication. I am operating in CW mode mainly,
but I am also operating in SSB and digital mode (RTTY & PSK) sometimes. Please call me
whenever you catch my skinny signal.
My system is as follows;
On Line Rigs :
IC-7800 and TR-7
Alpha 87A Linear
Off Line Rigs:
FL7000 Linear from Yaesu
IC-760 from Icom
KWM2+75S-1 from Collins
TR4+R4A, R2C from Drake
SB-102 from Heathkit
SR-150 from Hallicrafters
NCX-1000 from National
SWAN-250, 250C from Swan (6m)
Antennas : On a 21mH Telescopic Tower (FTI, Motor driven)
SteppIR 18E : 2EL for 40m
3EL for 30m - 10m
4EL for 6m
CD78Jｒ−H ：RDP for 80m
1/4λ Sloper for 80m
As I mentioned above, I am very interested in old tube type rigs. They are quite lovely
for me though I have to put my power to them for the maintenance.
I am a semi-retired person. I was a member of petroleum and petrochemical
company for 40 years including 5 years research work at the university of Tokyo
and was responsible for the process systems engineering technology. Now I am
working for a Britsh consultation company as a senior adviser. I will be a fully retired
person in the near future and I do hope I will have enough time to enjoy ham radio.
Besides radio I am interested in singing. I am a member of mixed choir in Chiba,
so called The Chiba International Singers. Basically we have a regular concert every
two years but we also have concert tour to foreign countries. I myself always really
enjoy these singing activities very much.
In addition to this , I would like to introduce my lovely dog, Momo. She is now
15 years "young" and my wife and I are spending peaceful days with her.
She does not speak but it is easy to understand what she is saying by eye-contact.
Anyway see you all soon on the air!
