My name is Newton White and I live in Decatur, GA which is a suburb of Atlanta, GA in the USA. I am a flavor chemistry scientist and work in the soft drink industry. I enjoy cooking (BBQ on the Big Green Egg), bowl turning, and currently I am attempting to learn how to play guitar.

I was born in the Los Angeles area but I have lived in the Atlanta area since my family moved to Georgia when I was 6 years old. My wife and I have three children, one boy born in 1979, a daughter born in 1983, and another son born in 1990.

Participating in Ham radio has been a desire since childhood and I finally reveived my Technician license in March, 2009. My original call was kj4klo. I received a vanity call about a month later and my call sign is now k0nwt. I upgraded to General at the Atlanta Radio Club HamFest in June, 2009, and I will keep the vanity call.
