Hi; Fellow hams. I have been a ham almost to many years to count . I got my first ticket in 1958. I am into digital comms now and still like the ragchew part of ham radio. It seems like my whole life has been influenced by this hobby, friends vacations and such. I would sure be lost with out my radios. 

I am just getting started in the dStar mode .  It has a lot of potental.

We have been attending the Hamvention for the last few years and I am really enjoying the trip the vendors and dealers.

I am one of the lucky ones that has a grandson who lives next door to help with the antenna. He also doubles as a snow removal person. My son lives down the block ,he is a ham as are his two brothers.

My auto has some radios. HF,VHF,uhf and aprs using Garmin GPS.

My second hobby is Motorcycles. I am riding a BMW now.  I also have an old Honda to play around town with.
