The Western Division of the Central Territory for the Salvation Army includes Nebraska, South Dakota, and western parts of Iowa.

The station is located on the campus of the Western Division Headquarters, and is set up to participate in local SKYWARN, ARES, RACES, and Omaha Metro Medial Response System (OMMRS) activities in addition to SATERN operations. The station was established in the fall of 2008 to build a network between roving Salvation Army Canteens and division headquarters. The station is still under construction.
