QSL UPDATE 3 March 2009

As of today, the last two envelopes of 11 have arrived. I am answering those cards and will send the whole batch to the bureau in the next day or two.

QSL UPDATE 11 December 2008

Three kilos (6 1/2 pounds) of cards have been shipped to the outgoing bureau. A few email requests have been included. The next batch from the bureau shouldn't arrive until February.

24 November 2008

Five kilos (11 pounds) of cards have arrived from the bureau all at once. I've gotten through the first round of sorting and have most of them entered into my log keeping software. To this point I have almost 1500 QSOs to confirm. The confirmations will be going out within a few weeks via the bureau.

In the past I was confirming all band/modes for any station that sent any card. My software requires that I would have to send out multiple cards to do this so I've stopped sending out extra confirmations except for direct QSLs.

Starting in 2009 I will stop answering duplicate QSL cards through the bureau unless you need a separate confirmation for a special award or other purpose. Please indicate on your card that you require an additional confirmation if this is the case.

I believe all QSL requests have been answered at this time. If you have sent a card and not gotten a reply, please send another card. If you had previously sent a direct request and make a note on the card, there is no need for an SASE, just make a note on the card that this is a second request and I'll send one out as soon as I get yours (If you're in my log of course).

I will answer all cards received from the bureau via the bureau. I will answer all direct cards direct if accompanied by return postage. US stations please include a SASE for a reply. VE stations please include SAE with appropriate postage. DX stations please include SAE and US postage, 1 new IRC, or 1 USD. US international postage is still just under 1 USD for the time being.

I QSL through LotW and eQSL 100 percent. I will also answer email requests from DX stations via the Bureau. Please send all email QSL requests to qsl@k0tv.com.

Thanks for your patience.

K0TV is the subject of the strongest PRB-1 decision on record to date, Marchand V. Hudson.

The Marchand Decision has been a financial hardship for me. I have spent almost $20,000 defending the tower rights of all New Hampshire hams and this decision will also help hams all over the country. I would greatly appreciate contributions to my PRB-1 Defense Fund. Please check out my web site at www.k0tv.com and click on "Marchand Decision". Thank you in advance.

I am an active contester on HF/VHF/UHF. Although my station is not fully operational, I am gradually getting back on the air. I am currently active on 160 - 70CM. The station isn't really all there on the VHF/UHF bands but I have some capability. More will be coming in 2009.

I have been active on satellites and I was responsible for the station setup used for the Hellenic School contact with MIR/ATLANTIS STS-84.

Best 73,
