I was first licensed in 1959 as KN0VBU in Kansas City, MO. I have been a ham for over 52 years, and I enjoy contesting, DXing and ragchewing. My favorite mode is CW, and my favorite contest is the November CW Sweepstakes. My current rig is an Icom IC-7600, and my antennas are a TH6DXX tribander at 50', a 40-meter dipole at 35', and a G5RV inverted-V dipole for 80 meters and the WARC bands. I rarely use my old Drake L4B amp. Ham Radio Deluxe is my everyday logging program, and I use N1MM Logger for contesting. You may QSL direct (sase, please) or via the bureau. I will be uploading logs to LOTW in the near future. I am an ARRL member, and a member of the Kansas City DX Club, serving as the club's webmaster. Check out our website at: www.kcdxclub.com. I am also active in our Kansas City Contest club, and participate actively in as many contests as time permits. K0VBU.com is my personal blog website. I hope to keep it fresh.
