First licensed in 1958 as a 16 years teenager. My initial years on the Ham Bands were during Cycle 19, where solar flux was 200 plus. The bands where fantastic, I would come home from high school and was able to work the World, on AM & CW, with 65 watts and a butter fly1 element beam on the side of the garage.

After 50 years I still feel Ham Radio is fantastic. Hope you all have many years to keep learning and enjoying our hobby. Also hope you use your skills to serve others.
