First licensed in 1952. Upgraded to General Class as K2CBM, a call I have had since. I have held an Advanced ticket and an Extra Class ticket since 1980. I moved from Hamburg, N.Y. to Ft. Myers, Florida in 1992. I taught Advanced Placement U.S. History at a small private school in Ft. Myers and retired in 2010 after 50 years of teaching. My HF rig is a FT-950, a vertical for 80-10 meters and a square loop for 6 meters. My 2 meter rig is an FT 2800 with a 1/4 wave GP. My primary interest is DXing on CW. DXCC, Mixed and CW. I am active on all bands 80 through 2 meters and a member of ARRL. I upload my log regularly to LOTW.
