QSL image for K2UNK

Preferred name = Bill

I was first licensed in June of 1958 as a Novice (KN2UNK).

I became K2UNK when I upgraded to Tech in 1959. I later upgraded to General and Advanced in the mid-90's and finally to Extra in 2003.

My primary on the air interests are 6m SSB (50 MHz VUCC #2109) andHF (primarily17 meters).

I am a member of the following amateur radio organizations:

   (1) Splitrock Amateur Radio Assoc.

   (2) Six Meter International Radio Klub (SMIRK) and

   (3) ARRL. For ARRL, I serve as Local Government Liaison for the ARRL in my home township of Mount Olive (Budd Lake and Flanders New Jersey).

Winter camping for January --

Jan 2012 ARRL VHF Contest --

When traveling with our camping trailer, I often operate "portable" from the trailer.

See the portable 3 element 6 meter beam and rotator on the rear of the trailer in the photo above..
