QSL image for K3OO

The picture is of the K3OO/K3OOO antenna farm taken October 2002.

Check out the antenna farm from outer space(April 2007) on the following web page. Click on Bird's eye view at that site.

Front tower antennas: 9el 2m@108'/7el 6m@105'/C31xr@100'/5el 15m@48'/4el 20m@38'.

Back tower antennas: XR-5@115'/140n 40m rotary dipole@110'. Lots of wire antennas and beverages for the low bands

A 3rd 46' Rohn 45 tower was added summer of 2007. This tower has 18el 2m beam on 36' boom @55', 7 el 6m beam on 29' boom at 51', 7 el 10m beam on 45' boom @46'. All these antennas are feed with 7/8" hardline.

In the shack we have Icom 756 pro3/Icom 746pro/mfj 9020(qrp). Amps are Two Alpha 91b's, and a Heathkit SB-220 converted to a monoband 6m amplifier(i still have not been able to get this working).

My primary interests in ham radio are contesting, dxing and qrp operating. I currently have 330 countries worked running 2 watts output and 150 countries worked running 100 milliwatts. I've tried qrp contesting and currently hold the alltime allband USA qrp record in the CQWWCW contest.

I have been a licensed ham since 1966. First licensed at the age of 12 as WN3GUL.

I qsl only direct when I receive a self addressed stamped envelope.

My 18 year old daughter Sara has been a licensed ham since age 8 . She is K3OOO. Check out qrz.com to see her. She can also be seen as a spokesperson in several Icom videos check this link.
