Click for more detail... Hello fellow hams... We are the Americus Amateur Radio Association, based in Americus, Georgia. We're a small but growing group that likes to think of ourselves as among the friendliest hams in the area. Hence the call "Kilo Four Friendly Amateur Radio". We currently have 3 repeaters in southwest and west central Georgia located in Americus, Montezuma, and Vienna, Georgia. Our meetings are the fourth Saturday morning of every month, and would be happy to have you attend. The local machines are almost always monitored....no visiting call goes unanswered. Program your radio before you leave...visit our website at http://www.k4far.org . Some of us old school types also monitor HF at 3975 and 3983 kilocycles. Come tour the historic Plains/ Americus/ Andersonville area of Georgia and let us pour you a cup of coffee or a glass of tea!
