Im a new Ham, for many years back there on Mexico I want to become a Amateur Radio Operator, but for one or other reason I was never able to become one (university is not cheap!).

When I move to Florida I start again with the idea and after a visit to the local radio club I was hook on this world.

I own a vintage(?) Kenwood Ts-120s, and a not too old but not too new Yaesu Ft-890AT (what is my primary rig) for HF and for 2 meters I have a Kenwood TM-2570A.

As antennas I have a two element beam (MA5B) on a rooftop tower (glenmartin, gs-065 thrust bearing and a yaesu G-450a for the rotor) that works for 10, 15 and 20 meters, the same beam have a 3rd element that works as a rotable dipole for 12 and 17 meters too.

(I hate the tree! but is in the neighboring house. so I can't do nothing)

I have just put a home made dipole for 40 meters.

I have on my shack some other equipment on use: Automatic antenna tunner MFJ-994, Drake W-4 Wattmeter and a Ameritron AL-811H pushing arround 500 watts on SSB, I use a small AcerOne Laptop where I run HRD for loging and for the Interface with the yaesu. to save some space on the desk I have a external ELO 15" touchscreen lcd monitor connected to the laptop so I can close the computer and set it to the side.

I'm on the look for some other items like a good desk microphone, a nice clock will be a good adition to improve the small "RADIO HOUSE!" as my kids like to call the shack and some other things.
