Thank you for stopping by. In the 1950's an amateur radio operator WA4GEQ planted a "Ham Seed" with this writer. I recall as a young child this monsterous antenna that hovered over his hamshack, large radios with numerous dials and a funny little object that he would press to produce sounds of dits and dahs, along with the countless hours I spent listening to conversations from around the world. This seed subsequently laid dormant through job, family, and life's obligations. Nearly fifty years later, this once forgotten seed began to sprout under a now more conducive environment named "Retirement". With the help and guidance of four extraordinary and talented elmers, this writer's dream became a reality. To verbally say "Thanks" lacks effectiveness. However, placing the word "Thanks" in this format for all to see enforces it to a higher degree. To "The Professor and Elder Statesman": NW4C - Warren, whose countless hours and devotion to this hobby, his amateur radio classes, and his always being there to help as a beacon whose light guides a wayward vessel at sea...Thank You Sir. To "Mr. Wizard": WC4U - Keith, thanks for sharing your extensive knowledge of computers, programming, etc. as it pertains to amateur radio, along with your antenna design education. Most of all thanks for responding to the countless e-mails entitled: "Help Mr. Wizard". To the "Daring Young Man On The Flying Trapeze": KR4E - Jerry. Thank you for your teachings on tower design, and its installation. Whose artwork appears on my estate and adorns this page. Your generosity is beyond words. You are truly an inspiration to this hobby. To the "CW Speedster": W4GJ - Bob. Thanks for your help with everything. Your mentoring of all in this hobby certainly does not go un-noticed. I value your friendship. I leave you, the reader, with a Final Thought: An hour with friends is worth more than ten with strangers. Until we meet again... Good DXing and 73 TO ALL.
