Click for more detail... CQ de K4NVJ First licensed as KN4NVJ in 1961. Upgraded to K4NVJ. After enlisting in USAF, my license expired while serving overseas. Back on the air in 1974 as WH6IJA in Hawaii. Upgraded to KH6IJA and operated there until 1981. Moved to Omaha and became KC0IY in 1981. Not too active until 1995, after retirement from Air Force and moved to Alabama. Reclaimed my original call sign via Vanity program. Primarily CW op, I have k3-100# 241 which is now my primary rig, but I also have k2-100 #4155 and k1 #764, all built by me. All 3 are great rigs. . My antenna are a Force 12 C-3 at 60' and an 88' dipole. I don't have as much time for getting on the air as I would like. When I do I primarily work the upper ends of the cw bands on 80, 40, 30 and 20. Most of these QSO's are casual ragchews. And I will also chase DX when conditions allow. Also I like to contest a little; usually the major dx tests and some of the QRP contests. Oh yeah! I'm a runner. Like to race (for fun) but prefer medium distances up to marathon. Retired USAF CMSgt 1 March 1993. Now working as computer technician. All QSLs answered. 73, Joe Last modified: Wed Dec 10 12:37:11 2008 Does this page contain inappropriate content?
