Born in 1953, I've been an SW broadcast DX'er on and off for over 40 years, and in June 2006 decided it was time to get licensed. So after a couple weeks of studying the questions and code, I'm now on the air with an ICOM 756PRO II feeding a Cobra Ultralight Jr. in an inverted vee at about 50 feet. I passed my Extra exam in late June 2006, and was granted K4XD on July 18.

I've been mostly working 40 and 20 SSB, PSK31 and RTTY.
