The Photo above is from Mobile, Alabama made in early 1982 and is the basis of my QSL that my wonderful neighbor George from Czechsolovakia used to to design my QSL in 1982. I still use this QSL today. Just had my graphic designer daughter in law change the address and antenna location.

Ham since 1959 retired from AT&T 1994, current rigs HF - Ten Tec Omni 6 and Collins 30L1 amp, Antennas: HF - TH11DX at 42 feet, Hy-Tower vertical, dipoles, Tucker 3000 tuner, 6 Meters-FT-950 - M2 6M7JHV @ 53', 2 meters IC746Pro- M Square 2M5WL @ 25'; UHF Yaesu 736R at 25 watts to - 432 30 El. @ 56 ft, 1296 - 10 Watts to KLM 44LBX at 60 feet. I enjoy Dxing and contesting. On HF only need P5 and E3 to have them all Total DXCC with deleted 359/356. DXCC - mixed Honor Roll 338, PHONE 336, CW 330, RTTY 289, WAC, WAZ, WAS -Mixed, RTTY, Triple Play #20, 8BDXCC, 6 Meter DXCC, A-1 Op., Member of ARRL, 10-10, QCWA, SMIRK, 6 Club, Grid Bandits, Missouri DX/Contest Club, SKCC. I became active on RTTY in Jan. 2008 and find it is a great mode. My favorite band is 6 meters. I just wish I had discovered 6 many years before 2005. Currently have 106/104 DXCC and 735/700 grids, includes WAC and 49 states (need AK.). Of 488 FFMA grids I am currently at 449/448. I am also active on 6 and 2 meters using WSJT. On 2 meters currently have 119/113 grids confirmed 30 states and 2 DXCC. These have been mainly on 2 meters WSJT. I enjoy exchanging qsl cards via bureau or direct. I also use eqsl.cc and lotw. A QSO may last only a few moments But a QSL is prized FOREVER Other interests are genealogy and stamp collecting. My wife and I have 4 biological children and an adopted multi handicapped daughter that is 21 now. Her name is Joy. She is perfectly named. she cant talk or walk but is a total character and joy. We also have 10 grandkids. So plenty to keep us busy. See you in the pileups. Best Wishes Ira K4YMQ
