I have had this call since 1959. My first contact was as a novice with a S-38D and a Globe Scout on 40meters.

I run 100 watts only with mostly wire antennas. It adds to the fun of making a DX contact in a pileup with the big guns.

I am retired from TV engineering where I specialized in keping high power UHF TV transmitters operating.

Raised in Rainsville Alabama and and was moved to Maine by a TV equipment manufacture where I worked in the test lab for a few years.

I now spend my time bass fishing in the summer and on the ham bands during the winter months when I can't be outside.

My XYL is N4WHU.

Life is good.
