I was first licensed as KN5LZT in 1957, at age 16, in Conroe TX; my Elmer was K5AJJ, Joe. I upgraded to Extra in Indianapolis in 1974. My wife and I moved from Rapid City SD to Hendersonville NC in 1988. I'm a retired Air Force officer as well as a retired financial advisor with American Express. I'm active primarily on HF CW, am a lifetime member of the ARRL and proudly support the ARRL's annual giving program as a Diamond Club member.
