I retired from the Marine Corps in 1990 after serving for 23 years in the communication-electronic fields. I became a licensed HAM in May 2006 and soon HAM radio became a family affair. My wife Sue is KI6FKB and my son Brad is KI6EZJ. My current Radio setup is a Yaesu FT-2000, SteppIR 4 Element yagi W/ 40 & 6 meter elements. On a 54 ft TriEx tower. I keep abreast of many forms of communication to include rebuilding and setting up computer systems, radio equipment, and new automotive electronics. I am a member of Palomar Amateur Radio Club (PARC) here in San Diego County as well as the San Diego DX Club, and was honored with being Rookie of the Year for 2006. My hobbies include Contesting, DXing, Electronics, Camping, Off-Road racing, and NASCAR. Please QSL to ARRL Log Book of the World or/and EQSL, or directly to me. 73s K6DEX
