I was born in Decatur, Illinois in 1954, but raised in Arizona since 1959. I Lived in Sterling, Illinois in the 2004-- 2005 School year and then promptly moved back home to Phoenix. Other places I've lived are Chicago, Illinois -- Ottumwa, Iowa -- San Francisco, Hollywood, San Diego, Las Vegas, Kansas City, Kansas and Missouri -- Boseman, Montana -- Memphis, Tennesee -- Tallahassee, Florida -- Sahuarita, Casa Grande, Tucson and Apache Junction, Arizona, And a partridge in a pear tree! Whew!

I'm primarily interested in working DX stations, not too much for ragchewing on a regular basis, but I do enjoy a nice QSO once in a while. I'll also pop in to one of the many available nets occasionally. I have a few friends that I like to hang out with on the air and can be found in the mornings on 14.247.50 until about 10 am, then on 14.320.00 untill mid afternoon. I also use EchoLink node # 291178 from the mobile and my link gives coverage in West Phoenix, Glendale and Sun City.

 I operate EchoLink node #291178, on 146.420 simplex (no PL required). You're welcome to use it. The transceiver is an ICOM IC-28H (50 watt output) and the antenna is a CushCraft 2 meter 5/8 Omni up 35 ft.

The station is fairly modest and likely to stay that way for some time to come. The HF Radio is a Kenwood TS-940S/AT.

The KLM KT-34A 4 element tribander antenna up 42 ft. I hope it stays up :-) The tower is a little creaky...
