Amateur radio station K7HVR is licensed to the Yavapai County Museum Alliance, a non-profit Arizona Corporation, located in Prescott, Arizona. The Alliance was incorporated in early 2001 with a mission statement of co-ordinating small museums in central and western Arizona, the purpose of sharing the cultural activities of each and sharing with other museums in the region. This included scheduling of travelling exhibits,as well as appearances of artists and performers.

In 2000, nationally known Museum Consultant Richard Sims was consultant and advisor for the Alliance project. The President of the Alliance is Lee Shoblom, also founding Director of the Lake Havasu Museum of History in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, also was a founding Trustee of the London Bridge Museum in London, England. He also is active at Sharlot Hall Museum in Prescott, Arizona and co-authored two books with Fred Wildfang focused on Lake Havasu City and Prescott, Arizona

An important part of the Alliance activities is the establishment of a public outreach effort combining the use of radio and television in both the amateur radio service through the club station, K7HVR,and the on-going connection with the city of Prescott cable access TV channel 13, and the low power FM station Construction Permit for KZXS-LP,granted by the F.C.C. to the Yavapai County Museum Alliance. Lee and Lynne Shoblom are charter members of the program advisory board of AZ-TV,an Arizona statewide TV network.

Lee Shoblom is Trustee for Amateur Radio station K7HVR, a club station ,licensed by the F.C.C. in 2005.The transmitter site for K7HVR is located in Prescott, Arizona.
