Back on the air over three years from the valley of the sun. Active from the shack on 80m through 10m and occasionally mobile. Having fun with digital modes and SSTV. Retraining my brain and fist for CW and up to about 17 wpm so far.

Earned novice call WN9VMW in 1976 as a member of the Carl Sandburg High School Amateur Radio Club in the Chicago suburbs. Upgraded to Advanced class and received my commercial operators license in 1978 thanks to the assistance of an extraordinary educator, Richard Czuchra K9MT.
