I was first licensed in 1962 as KN7UIE. My Dad (W7UWD) was a WWII Navy radioman and introduced me to ham radio when I was 16. I worked CW with a novice ticket for a year. 40 years later I finally returned to ham radio and have enjoyed getting back into CW. My rigs are an Icom Pro II and IC-7000. Antenna is a Cushcraft R-8 vertical. Amp is an Ameritron AL-811H.

I retired in 2009 after 25 years in manufacturing as a facilities/maintenance manager. Prior to that I flew commercially and spent 4 years in Borneo, Indonesia doing some jungle flying for Mission Aviation Fellowship. Ratings include ATP with DC-3. Also CFII-multi, glider, seaplane and hot air balloon. I still love to fly and last plane was a Stearman PT-17.

Best 73,

Craig

Keys that I'm currently using are a Vibroplex Anniversary Edition Bug, Begali Magnetic Pro, and Begali Spark.
