Hello from Michigan! My name is Brian and my hobbies are hunting, ham radio, traveling, and most importantly, my family.
It was great to meet you!

I started my ham career in 1989 when I was 13 years old learning from my father (now K8PX). By 1992 I had my extra class license and operated my fathers 4 element Quad at 90 feet with big power. I'm 99% CW and it was/ and still is my passion

1994-2011 - I spent all these years away from radio studying and received a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition, getting my future together and building a family. I am now working as a Manager for Daimler Trucks North America. Managing Quality Assurance for our Diesel Engine & Axle Business.

In 2004 I was married to a supporting wife and now have 3 beautiful children. Brooklyn 6 yrs old, Abbie 4.5 years old, and Luke at 20 months old!

In July of 2011 I lifted a Carolina Windom 40 into the trees at 40 feet in my neighborhood of almost 200 homes! :) My rig is a new Kenwood TS-590 and I operate barefoot 100 watts
My fist operates on the "same" Nye Viking Paddle" that my father gave me 25 years ago.
I am 37 years old now and I truely love CW.
I usually tune around in the evenings on 40 meters to chat with state side.
I also work alot of DX and monitor "DX SUMMIT" from my laptop when I am at my station.
THANKS AND GREAT TO MEET YOU!!
God Bless!
