Thank you for looking me up. I recently obtained my amateur license (January 2010). I really enjoy the hobby. I was born in 1942. I am a retired CPA. I live just outside of Chicago Illinois in the Village of Glenview almost all of the year. I operate a Yaesu 897D through a 31 foot vertical (home owner restrictions you know!) at a 100 watts.

In the winter you may find me at our home in Boynton Beach FL (55 miles north of Miami). I am running a Kenwood TS 940SATat a100 watts through an S9 31 foot vertical (home owner restrictions you know!). I put the S9 up at night and take it down early in the morning. The things we have to do because of our neighbors!

In the mobile I operate an ICOM-7000 through a Tarheel II screwdriver antenna with 100 Watts.

I love the HF frequencies and I love to rag chew and chase DX. You may find me anywhere on the 10-80 meter bands. I am also an avid 2 meter, 220 and 440 band FM aficionado.

73 and hope to catch you down the log some time.

I will be using this call sign for a "holiday style" DXpedition to Grand Bahama Island from January 17-21, 2014. I will be on as much as I can but this is not a contest operation so I may not be on at all times. I will operate SSB. I hope to work as many of you as possible during the time I'm on the island.

Please QSL via W3HNK
