One summer night, I fell in love with ham radio. Overnight, I pulled out electronics magazines I had and read all the articles about ham radio. I was later licensed as HL1SUL in Seoul, Korea. This station went QRT in 1998.
I came back as K9SUL in 2010. This time, I was set to fullfill my dream of owning and operating Drake equipment. I ended up acquiring and repairing many Drake radios and my interest extended to Hallicrafters, Gonset, Central Electronics, etc. For some reason, I have not taken interest in Collins, probably because they are too expensive.
