I am retired and live in the farm country of West Central Indiana in Vermillion County (EM69GP) with my wife Linda W9LSB. I was first licensed in 1977 as WD9HMI as a Novice. In 1978 I upgraded to General, 1980 to Advanced and in 1994 to Extra. I changed my call to K9SV in 1996. I operate HF 6- 160 SSB, CW, and RTTY. I prefer 17 meters for SSB rag chewing and do a lot of Dxing on all bands and modes. I also jump into the contests on occasion.

My HF beam is a Mosley Pro 57A @60ft. Put up in 1989 it has been a great performer on all bands and modes. It covers 10,12,15,17,and 20 meters. The rotor is a rebuilt Hygain Ham-IV from C.A.T.S. Other Antennas: Bob Grove design all band OCF dipole at 55ft. Quarter Wave 160mtr inverted L.

LOW BANDS HF VERTICAL The HF Vertical design is John Haelre's (SK), Folded Umbrella. The Original article was in May 79 Ham Radio Magazine. Used on 30, 40, and 80 meters with 120 - 62ft radials As folded dipole worked against ground the Umbrella is an excellent low angle DX antenna. For more details on the antenna email me at address below.
*************************************************************************************** SIX METER BEAM The 6 meter beam is a 4 element Higain yagi on a 12 ft boom. Mounted on a pushup mast at 25 ft. I am well on my way to DXCC on 6 with this setup. ***********************************************************************
