After a long battle with Cancer KA0PER became a silent Key on July 2nd 2009. He loved to work CW DX and had a favorite station "Per" in Sweden that he had many  QSO'S with. He got DXCC at the bottom of the last cycle with 100 watts and a G5RV.

 His license expired while he was in the Health Center during the last 9 months, Knowing that there was no recovery it was not renewed.

Les was a Gentlemans Gentleman. Loved by all he will be missed by his loving family and a host of friends,
