Ran many Traffic Nets on 14.292 until leaving for Michigan. There, I was almost exclusively RTTY and CW. While stationed in Japan, the FCC would not relicense without a stateside address. I let the license lapse until the bug got me again in 2003. I had to retest my Gen Class, and upgraded to Extra in 2007. Currently active in all digital modes, and Army MARS. Completed ARRL Emergency Courses 1, 2, and 3. Completed all IC courses 100, 100H, 200, 400, 700, 703, 800, and all Homeland Security courses. My Wife (KB5AGW) and I live on Camp Shelby Army Training Center, and go to our home in Vancleave, MS on the weekends. Equipment is all Kenwood, including my first radio the TS-820S from 1979. Currently working on getting all band, all mode capability in the car. The B2000 is mounted thru a TurboTuner to a TarHeel 75A. I still have to run the remote cables from the rig in the trunk up to the mounting position by the dashboard. Then to get the computer and interface positioned correctly. It is a project that is "in the working stage" for sure. Thanks for looking. Don Last modified: Tue Jun 30 05:16:52 2009 Does this page contain inappropriate content? If so, Report this page... |
