PCs and RF - it's a natural marriage made in heaven. A lot of my current effort is spent hosting and maintaining our club's web site. We recently purchased a TV broadcast tower site. Lots of new things happening!

I firmly believe that ham radio should be enjoyed. That's the only 'should' that applies. Anything else is a burden and takes the enjoyment away from others.

I've worked as a(n): EMT in a college town ER, Developer/IT staff for a logistics firm, Network Technician for a Managed serices provider, Aeromedical Evacuation Technician, Bee keeper and am currently  employed by one of the largest Motorola dealerships in the Rocky Mnt region supporting 911/Public safety dispatch and communications. I do a bit of everything - or will.

My OS of choice is Linux - specifically Fedora and CentOS.

Living in Central Wyoming, winter preparedness and wilderness survival is normal activity. Ham radio support both of these quite nicely.
