Special thanks to Mrs. Laura Smith for getting my address fixed!

Find me on facebook at www.facebook.com/94mike . I also have a twitter, but don't update it. I just follow people with it at twitter.com/kb3rrv .

Hello, my name is Mike Brulo, located in the Paxtonia/Colonial Park area just East of Harrisburg, PA. I got my Tech. license at the age of 13 back in September '08.

I upgraded to the General class on December 20th 2008, about 5 minutes after I turned 14!

I will eventually upgrade to the Extra class, but I don't know when.

Currently, I do 10 meters when it is open. When it isn't, you could probably find me down on 20. For 10 meters, I run about 50 watts into an Antron 99 that is about 50-60 feet in the air. That gets out more than good enough for me. I get countless reports of 20 over 9! For the other lower bands, I am using a G5RV J.R. I am hoping to string up a long wire antenna because I have the space and the difference will be great!

If I am on 2 meters, you will here me on our local simplex frequency or talking to a group of guys on the 147.075 repeater. I am getting interested in "fox hunting".

When I am going for walks, bike rides, or participating in other outdoor activites, I usually carry my VX-170 and my VX-3 around. I usually listen to the 147.075 repeater or play around on simplex.

I made my first contact using the Harrisburg CPRA .47 repeater with KB3OTY the first day I saw my license in the ULS. I, along with everybody else who had a first contact, was really excited!

So, I hope we could talk sometime, whether that is local repeaters, IRLP, or HF! Call me on 28.400 MHz, 147.075, or IRLP node 7060.
