Former call KB9KTD was too much of a tongue twister (ktd) on weak signal modes so as of 8/14/09 I have the new Wiskey Victor nine Echo.  Way better.

I enjoy most all aspects of the hobby (uh..service), VHF plus is my favorite area, but am quite varied in my daily, weekly areas of interest.  I can be found on phone all over the bands.  I tend to monitor 50.125, 144.200, 21.320 and the local repeater used by the club I am a member of, see www.mvara.net.

My station grows as I have disposable cabbage to direct that way.  As of now I have a Kenwood TS-2000X and YAESU 736R for combined satellite and VHF plus work, I am on 50,144,222,432 and 1296 so far w/ amps and yagis on all.  No amp on 1296 yet.  On HF I use the 2000X and a Yaesu 897. I use the 897 to drive my HF amp and to hook up my home brew devices for rtty, sstv and packet. No sense ruining an expensive radio should my horrific plans produce smoke.  My antennas for HF are quite meager at this point, a vertical for 17,15,12 and 10 meters and an 80 meter dipole I tune for the rest.  I have a 20-15-10 triband lacking a tower as of this writing.

Please QSL direct and hope to catch you on the  waves...  look for me to be on all the VHF/UHF contests..
