Wisconsin QSO Party - 2016

I am excited to be a part of the WIQP this year! In case you don't know, for this contest I can be worked once per county per band. More info at http://www.warac.org/wqp/wqp.htm.

I will be giving my call sign followed a '/' and a 3-character county abbreviation they provide (see link above) to give your logging software a unique call sign. Examples: KC0DMF/ASH (for Ashland County), KC0DMF/BAY(for Bayfield County), etc. This is to help you work me once per county.

When I log the contacts in LOTW (etc.) I will log them as KC0DMF/m with the location being the given county.

The counties I am expecting to reach this year are in northwestern Wisconsin:

(estim time CDT / county; UPDATED 3/10/2016)

1:00 PM        St Croix

1:33 PM        Polk

1:49 PM        Barron

2:17 PM        Burnett

2:43 PM        Washburn

3:16 PM        Douglas

3:46 PM        Bayfield

4:18 PM        Sawyer

4:52 PM        Ashland

5:24 PM        Price

6:20 PM        Rusk

6:40 PM        Taylor

7:05 PM        Chippewa

7:49 PM        Dunn

8:00 PM        **END**

You can follow me on APRS on www.aprs.fi (as KC0DMF-9).

Minnesota QSO Party - Thank You!

A big THANK YOU to all those who worked me (especially multiple times) in the Minnesota QSO Party! You made this a great contest. I had a blast working with all of you and wished I could have brought you along with me to experience the fun.  I'll be back next year again activating those rare counties. My goal is to eventually work from every county in Minnesota!

Special thanks to my operating team Kevin (N0XWJ, driving), and Frank (N0SFF, navigation/operation). You guys make me sound good.

FYI: I may work the Wisconsin QSO Party on March 13th, 2016 and the Iowa QSO Party in Oct!

Highlights this year: I had 562 contacts giving me a score of 50,580 points!  Also, I made 4 contacts with OM2VL from the Slovak Republic. This year I really improved my operating "patter" (how I say things on the air).

When I log the contacts I will log them as KC0DMF/m with the location being the given county. Email me any questions or concerns you may have.
