I serve as the Pastor to the Oakwood United Methodist Church in Elmira NY. Elmira is located at the base of the Finger Lakes Region along the border of the State of Pennsylvania.

My other interests include SWL,kayaking and canoeing,birds and wildlife. I am a volunteer and one time career Firefighter/EMT. Currently I serve as Chaplain to the Corning City Fire Dept.

I operate on 2m/70cm and on HF digital and SSB.  My shack includes TS-2000, FT-1000MP MARK V (w/ a Quadra tuner and amp) and an Icom IC-7000 (dedicaated to APRS)

My antennas include a Buckmaster Off-Center Fed Dipole, a 2m/70cm Diamond vertical and a JT-63 Jetstream VHF/UHF Verticsl.The Verticals are mounted on an AB577 crank-up military surplus tower at 48 feet agl. For digital modes I use a Navigator US Interface. I also mantain a weather Vantage Pro-2 Wx station that is streamed to the internet under KC2RCU or KNYMINET2 and Rf  Look for me on 20m PSK31, my favorite mode,on evenings or weekends.
