Greetings from Johnstown, NY
I was born in Panama City, in the Republic of Panama (HP/HO). I graduated from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA with a double major in Computer Engineering and Computer Science. Shortly after graduation, I was hired as a Systems Engineer, and moved to Upstate New York. I was licensed as a "Tech" in Nov, 2008 then upgraded to "General" in March 2009. Finally, I upgraded to "Extra" in September 2011. I enjoy the digital modes, such as SSTV, PSK31 and APRS where you can find me using KC2UEZ-5 for my QTH and KC2UEZ-9 for my mobile. My main radio is a Kenwood TS-2000. My Antennas are: UVS-200 for 2m/70cm, Comet CHA-250B for 6m to 80m, 20m dipole and a sloper antenna for 160m. I am a member of the K2JJI Tryon Amateur Radio Club located in Fulton Co, NY. I am also the webmaster for the club. Our website is http://k2jji.org. Our 2m repeater is K2JJI and is set to 146.700Mhz with no PL and negative offset. This repeater is also reachable via EchoLink on the node number:510372 For QSL exchanges, I prefer LoTW and eQSL. My QSOs are instantaneously uploaded after every contact. I also have real QSL cards that I would be happy to send to you, but I will be expecting one from you in return. Besides Ham Radio, I am also interested on electronics, programming, video games (especially the HALO series), and caribbean music (SKA, Reggae, DUB and Rock Steady). My QSL card:
