Hi, I'm Alex! Thanks for looking me up!

I've always liked use and tinker with older radios (Boatanchors). Dipping the plate is an art in my eyes.

My station consists of a Drake TR-4C, Yaesu FT-101ZD, Viking Adventurer, Hammarlund HQ-129x, Icom IC-25 And a few other smaller radios. I also have some audiophile equipment, Lots of vinyl, and a few broadcast band radios.

My main mode is Sideband, but I'm getting proficient in code. I hope to soon start backpacking QRP. I listen to the AM gang on 80m all the time.

I like to Homebrew/restore equipment. I've fixed up a few novice transmitters and would soon like to build my own novice station.

I like to hang out on most bands, but can only operate on about 7MHz and higher due to antenna restrictions.

My HF antenna is a homemade 40m dipole. For 2 meters I use a Arrow OSJ 144/400 J-pole.

Besides ham radio, im a huge train buff and old computer geek. I also enjoy metalworking/ Welding. I like working on anything with an engine.
