Hi, I'm Lucas Schaar and I am 13 years old. I'm a technician class operator (no code) and working toward my genral class so I can talk HF. One of my friends is a ham also. His name is Tyler, KC8NSB. Then their is my good friend and scout leader, Roger Young, KC8CGH who got us started in this hobby. He has just became an extra class and is a really neat and knowlegable guy. My rig's right now are a Kenwood TH-G17A and a Icom IC-207H. I'm into AMSAT, packet, and just plane old repeater voice. I usualy talk on 2m and 70cm bands and sometimes talk 6m on Tyler's rig or HF on Roger's Icom 706. If you are in the Lansing area, you can usualy find me on the 146.700 (100hz pl) or the 145.390 (100hz pl) repeaters. Update: I've convinced 2 more of my friends to become HAMs, Billy Zlotek (KC8SDB), and Richard Mcrate (forgot his call).
