this is my first six meter home brew amp. its  useing the gi 46b tube its output with 100 watts drive is around 750 pep on my lp 100a watt meter  i almost gave up on this amp but i finally found out what was going on with it thanks to another fellow ham i worked on 50 mhz that had the same problem boiled down to an almost like rf in the audio and biasing fixed it. 


my rigs are icom 7000 icom 7600 i also have the ameritron al1500 and the icom pw1 the sb220 was my first ham radio amplifier it has all harbach mods includeing the peter dahl upgrade transformer 3400 volts on the plate with only 50 watts drive it produces 1650 output on an lp 100a watt meter! after qro kings converted it to 6 meters  i rebiuld it over the years of my ham radio hobby it is now a qro kings conversion 6 meter amplifier anyway i love to work on amps learning as i go along. i work in a coalmine above ground 7 miles from my home this is the most recent shack pic.
