First licensed in 1998, it took me until 1 February 2014 to finally get a wire up and get on the air on HF. Hope to make lots of contacts and friends along the way. Using a Kenwood TS-440S and a homebrew fan dipole that is currently only about 15' off the ground. Probably the least expensive antenna I know of at a cost of less than $5.00. Have been a SWL for over 50 years using a variety of radios both tube and solid state so I will answer SWL QSL Cards/reports. Still have my first Zenith Transoceanic.
I LOVE chasing paper QSL so that is my preference. Stamps are appreciated as I am a life long stamp collector. If you collect stamps, please let me know as I am happy to share 20th century U.S. as well as more recent if you have a request or topical specialty. When I have older postage available, I often use it to mail QSL cards. If you get any from me and enjoy, please let me know. Also, ALL of my QSL cards are individually printed at this time.
All HF logs are uploaded to LoTW, QRZ, QRZCQ and CLUBLOG frequently as well.
I have begun to upload Satellite QSO to QRZ and LoTW. With over 3000 and from many grids this will take a while. I have started with SO-50 from DN83 & DN84 in SD and EL29 in 2013. Lots more to come as I upload QSO back to 2000. These were originally paper logs only. If you worked me on Satellite in the past on UO-14, AO-27, SO-35, AO-51 or SO-50 and need confirmation, please email details and I can check my notes and expedite LoTW confirmation

I still enjoy working the LEOS with my trusty old Icom W32A or other dual band HT when I can and will QSL on any band so if you hear me on one of the V/U birds give me a call. I am trying to achieve VUCC using only the handheld. I use a Pryme AL-800, Comet BNC24 or Arrow. I like the challenge of working birds QRP with an HT. As part of a bowling family I also take the HT and try to work from many different grids in Texas and beyond on satellite. If I am in another grid, I will attempt to notify at least one week in advance of being QRV.
I was inactive on satellite for several years and when I get a chance will occasionally pop in while at work one of the construction projects I visit until I retire,
Also playing catch-up with QSL's so if I owe you one please let me know by email.
