Click for more detail... Hello and thank you for taking the time to look up and verify my call sign. Also visit my weather site: http://gardnerwx.heifipro.com/ I just recently graduated with honors from Aviation Institute of Maintenance earning A.O.S. in Aviation Maintenance Technology. I have been inactive on voice while I was in school. Trying to make a come back again but having moved as well, I have to also install my antenna in the attic after I get permission from the landlord. I primarily work APRS until I can fix my other radio with a blown final amp. So with two problems to tackle, I mainly use my handhelds if I need and when I can. Radios owned: I have moved across this country many times. I started out in amateur radio from Civil Air Patrol when I got involved with radio there. One of the Senior Officers recommended me the hobby while living in Phoenix. There it took off. I got licensed March 1998 as a Technician, passed my 5 WPM in December 1998 for my Technician Plus. I would go to spotter training, at the time they didn't give me a certificate when they still offered them, citing I was under 18, though I took the class. I moved to Blue Springs, MO 2001 with my dad to finish school. Moved in with my wife January 2002. Got married April 2002, had our daughter Mikayla Nov 2002. Moved to Grain Valley where I got involved with APRS and a weather station Nov 2004. Had our son December 2006, I started college January 2007. I then decided to challenge myself, so whilst still getting honors in the end, I also upgraded my license to a General while taking my instructor to get his Technician during the summer. Moved back to Blue Springs May 2007, for a one year lease, moved to Gardner, KS now in May 2008. While still attending school I had moved 3 times at this point. I plan to and intend to live here a long time while working at the airport down the street. Here is my amateur radio weather site in transition of ownership: http://www.grainvalleyweather.com/ It is under development to be transfered to another amateur radio operator living in Grain Valley since I do not live there anymore Here is the club that I try to be involved with, but now mainly do the webpage now being futher away: http://www.bsarc.us/ WA6BXW - old internet contact I have frequently communicated with over Yahoo.
