Picture is of my wife (KD8JWR), myself, and my father (W7CLR) - Taken at Hamvention 2009

Receiving my Technician license and callsign KE4WLE at age 15 while growing up in Springfield, VA I upgraded to General (Mar. 07) and Extra (Feb. 08) class while living in Ohio, but elected to retain my original callsign.

QTH is Clayton, OH a small town outside of Dayton, OH. I generally operate a FlexRadio 1500 to drive a THP HL-50B amplifier through an Alpha-Delta Pathfinder Autotuner into a Cushcraft R7 vertical mounted at about 10 feet. I also occasionally run a Yaesu FT-857D or an FT-817D. For portable PSK operations I utilize a NUE-PSK digital modem.

For station control and digital operation I utilize Ham Radio Deluxe + Digital Master.

I am a member of XWARN (Xenia Weather Amateur Radio Net) and Dayton Amateur Radio Association, both local clubs.

Having been a supporter of Dayton Hamvention since 2005 I have served on the Media Committee and I currently serve as Webmaster of http://www.hamvention.org. I am also a moderator on the Dayton Hamvention group on Yahoo! and the manager of the official Hamvention twitter account.

I operate mostly on 20/40 Digital (PSK/RTTY/Etc.) and Phone - I'm working on my WAS (need WV, IN) eWAS (need HI, WV) and enjoy QSL'ing via eQsl.cc, LOTW or direct.
